Obama Raises the Bar on Recovery Act Compliance

Washington, April 9 — President Obama has demanded that federal agencies “intensify” their efforts to ensure American Recovery and Reinvestment Act award recipients comply with reporting requirements.

In an April 6 memo, Obama said that federal agencies should use “every means available” to identify every prime recipient that is obligated to report on FederalReporting.gov, and ensure they submit the required data timely and accurately.
