Latest Section 1512 Reporting Period Opens Thursday

Washington, June 29 – July 1 is just around the corner and for recipients of American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funds that means it is time once again to begin filing their quarterly Section 1512 reports. The reports are required under the 2009 law and must outline how funds were spent and the number of jobs created and retained through their programs.

Reports will be accepted at federalreporting.gov from July 1 to July 20; however, if a report is submitted between July 15 and July 20, it will be marked as a late submission.

Reports should include information regarding the status of the recipient’s award from the previous cycle.

First-time Recovery Act funding recipients must register before they can submit their reports, and all recipients are being reminded to update their Central Contract Registration information at least 48 hours before attempting to submit their report.

All report data will be reviewed by the awarding agencies starting July 21 and will be published on Recovery.gov beginning July 30.

For more information on submitting, viewing, commenting on and updating reports after they have been submitted, refer to the FederalReporting.gov User Guide.

For specific questions, FederalReporting.gov operates a Service Desk at 1-877-508-7386, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. EDT.
