Beyond ARRA Reporting: Grantees To Begin Submitting FFATA Subaward Data in October

Washington, April 8 — The federal government has finally set a date — Oct. 1, 2010 — for grant recipients to submit subgrant and subcontract data under the Federal Funding Accountability and Transparency Act (Pub. L. 109-282). The requirement, however, applies only to subgrants and subcontracts awarded after that date.

In a recent memo to federal agencies, the Office of Management and Budget said recipients would be required to submit data only on first-tier subgrants and subcontracts. Recipients have up to 30 days after awarding a subgrant or subcontract to submit the data.
